What SteamGameWorth collects
SteamGameWorth collects the questionnaire answers you submit about your game idea, the saved response id used to reload that answer set, and the email address you provide for paid report delivery.
When you pay for a full report, SteamGameWorth stores payment status records such as the local payment reference, Creem checkout or order identifiers, webhook event identifiers, delivery status, and the full report job reference. These records are used to send the report once and to avoid duplicate delivery.
Payment data
Checkout is handled by Creem. Creem processes payment details, calculates applicable tax, and issues receipts. SteamGameWorth receives payment confirmation and limited order information needed to connect the paid checkout to the saved questionnaire response. SteamGameWorth does not store card numbers or payment method credentials.
Anonymous product analytics
When anonymous analytics is enabled, SteamGameWorth sends the page category, language, approved campaign tags (source, medium, campaign, and content), referring website domain, named product actions, and an SDK-generated coarse traffic classification (browser or bot) to PostHog Cloud in the European Union. This is used only to compare promotion sources, distinguish activity the SDK recognizes as automated from activity it does not recognize as automated, and understand whether anonymous activity continues to the questionnaire and reports. The classification cannot prove that activity came from a human.
Analytics does not include game ideas, questionnaire answers, similar-game entries, email addresses, saved response ids, payment ids, report access tokens, full page addresses, full referring addresses, or card data. Automatic click capture, session recording, surveys, user identification, and person profiles are disabled.
PostHog is configured in cookieless mode and does not persist analytics identifiers or event data in analytics cookies, local storage, or session storage. To calculate a privacy-preserving anonymous identifier that changes daily, the PostHog browser library sends the current site host and raw browser User-Agent, while PostHog's EU servers briefly process the request's IP address. PostHog uses these inputs for the daily anonymous hash and removes the IP address and raw User-Agent before writing the event. It may retain the SteamGameWorth site host and the SDK-derived coarse $browser_type value (browser or bot) with the allowlisted event. This category is used only to separate events the SDK did not recognize as automation from events it recognized as automation; it does not contain the raw User-Agent and cannot confirm that a visitor is human. SteamGameWorth does not use these protocol inputs to identify people, build profiles, or analyze devices. This allows same-day steps to be compared, but visits cannot be reliably linked across days. Analytics events may be retained for up to one year. Payment records remain the source of truth for completed purchases.
Invite attribution cookie
If you arrive through an approved partner invite link, SteamGameWorth writes a first-party referral attribution cookie only after you allow it. The cookie lasts no longer than 30 days and stores only a verified short partner identifier and attribution time, not the full URL, questionnaire answers, email address, payment details, or report link.
If you decline or withdraw consent, the page, questionnaire, free report, and checkout still work. SteamGameWorth does not secretly persist the referral source. A valid referral is used only in internal server-side payment records for commission, refund reversal, and cost reconciliation.
How report data is used
SteamGameWorth uses your answers, public Steam store and review data, estimation methods, and AI-assisted analysis to create the free and paid reports. The paid report is sent through an email delivery provider. Provider responses such as an email delivery id may be stored so the system can confirm that the report was sent.
Questionnaire answers may also be reviewed in aggregate to improve the report structure, wording, error handling, and market categories. SteamGameWorth does not sell questionnaire answers or email addresses.
Retention and deletion
SteamGameWorth keeps questionnaire, payment, and delivery records long enough to generate the report, handle support or refund requests, prevent duplicate sends, and maintain a basic purchase record. If you want a saved response or delivery email removed, use the support path shown with your payment receipt and include the payment reference or delivery email.
Security limits
SteamGameWorth uses environment-based secrets for payment, database, analysis, and email providers. No web service can promise perfect security, so avoid submitting confidential trade secrets that you would not want processed by the providers needed to generate and deliver the report.
